Quick Tips: Tree Tables [Video]

Tree tables are used to represent hierarchical relationships where there are multiple levels.  Each record in the tree table points to its parent record with the exception of the top node in the tree. They can, theoretically, have an unlimited number of levels.

The simplest tree example is a folder structure of files on a PC, but there are many applications in business where they are useful as well.
